to service and justice. Basic Function Under the direction of the
Dean and Department Chair, the lecturer is responsible for
providing academic instruction to students for the assigned
courses. The lecturer is to serve as an academic advisor to
students; contribute to department and university activities and
serve on faculty and university committees.
Program Directors at the School of Management bear the overall
academic and administrative responsibility and as this is a
year-round program there are summer program director
responsibilities. Program Directors are the face of their program
for potential and current students, faculty, staff, the business
and non-profit community and a general audience. They have
responsibilities that are both inwardly and outwardly directed and
must possess both strong analytical and inter-personal skills. In
addition, the Program Director is responsible for providing
academic instruction to students for the assigned graduate courses.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
serving as an academic advisor to students and serving on faculty
or university committees, as outlined in the faculty handbook.
Representative Duties
Administration with emphasis/concentration/major/minor in Financial
Planning.
Active CFP license. Preferred Qualifications Master's in Personal
Financial Planning, or MBA or Master's in finance with an
emphasis/concentration in Personal Financial Planning, or MBA in
Business
Administration with emphasis/concentration/major/minor in Financial
Planning. Licenses and other requirements Active CFP license.
Physical Abilities Detect to understand appropriate written
correspondence; communicate clearly to exchange information in
person and via the telephone or video; operate a computer and other
office productivity machinery; stationary position for extended
periods of time; move or transport light objects; position self to
store and/or retrieve files. This is a new faculty search to start
