At NOMOBO we're looking for a New Business Development Director to join our team in Los Angeles.About the roleNOMOBO is seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Director to drive our sales efforts in the US market. This role requires a seasoned Sales professional with strategic vision and a deep understanding of market dynamics, capable of driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Business Development (BizDev) within the media, entertainment, or video production industry.You will be responsible for achieving the company's BizDev goals and revenue objectives. This role involves planning, development and execution of sales strategies and actions ensuring the growth and expansion of the company's customer base. As the New Business Development Director, you will work closely with executive management, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer to align sales objectives with business strategy and drive the company towards achieving its financial goals.Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the US market.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand NOMOBO's client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational sales targets and business goals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to capitalize on market potential.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee the sales process from prospecting to closing deals by partnering with production management executives, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and optimizing existing customer relationships. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget for the US focused market.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and activations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the sales team.Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience.
    • Proven experience and track record in the media, entertainment, sports or video production industry.
    • Strong understanding of the US market dynamics and customer needs.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend productions that NOMOBO delivers as well as industry events.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.The offer

      • Full time exempt role.
      • Base salary range 100k - 150k.
      • Performance-based incentives.
      • Group health insurance (including dental & vision): 100% contribution coverage for employees + 20% for any dependents.
      • Monthly net expense allowance for phone $60.
