Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department
for a travel nursing job in Thousand Oaks, California. Job
Description & Requirements
Required Details:
BLS
· ACLS
· PALS
· NIHSS
· TNCC
· ENPC
· CPI
· 1 Yr experience at an ED with STEMI, Stroke and L2 or L3 trauma
services
· Must have worked with all ages of patients, birth to
geriatric
· There is NO grace period to obtain these certs; must have prior
to start
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be
considered first.
· 2-3 years ED experience at an ED with STEMI, Stroke and L2 or L3
trauma services
· Triage experience
· Worked at moderate to large sized facility (> 20 beds or more
than 150 visits daily)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Acute Stroke, STEMI, Trauma and Cardiac Care (IVs, drips, TNK or
tPA, conscious sedation, intub/vent care, trauma care (chest tubes,
rapid blood infusion, ventrics, etc.)
· Respiratory/vent care
· Peds care (IVs, venipuncture, catheters, drips, vents,
monitoring)
· GYN Care
· Ortho and wound care
· Inpatient holding of admits
